So I’ve been craving anything lavender in the past few weeks, and when I decided to host an essential oils “Make & Take” on Monday night, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to try to make this gorgeous Lavender & Honey Cheesecake I had previously seen on Sprinkle for Breakfast. I made a few changes to the recipe and it was fantastic. And still gorgeous, and so delicious! It might not be for everyone, as lavender is usually a hit or miss thing with most people; for me, it was a perfect hit! If you think you may like this one, give yourself a chance and you won’t be disappointed!
First of all, the texture is just perfect. So I will be keeping the base of this recipe for all future cheesecakes… I can only imagine what this cheesecake would taste like with dulce de leche chocolate or a nice raspberry coulis and I want to do it right away!!! But you know what, lavender is the new thing and you got to get out of your comfort zone sometimes, so try this, as the lavender and honey combination is just perfect for a summertime dessert.
